Players looking for a light racquet often have to sacrifice some power and control, but this is not as profound in the Pure Drive Lite as you would expect. The racquet only weighs 10.3 oz at a 100 square inches, yet it still has enough power to be used by pros. Pure Drive Lite is the preferred racquet of Agnieszka Radwanska.
Cortex Active Technology is placed just above the grip where it is attached to the frame and this thing is going to leave you with more feel as shock and vibrations are significantly reduced. Woofer grommets not only help on the feel, but also contributes to the power through a slight trampoline effect experienced on all shots.
This is a versatile racquet all things considered. The maneuverability is decent and control on volleys are excellent, which is where you normally require a heavier racquet, but the Pure Drive Lite gets the job done. The similarities to the standard Pure Drive is striking, but requires a lot less effort on every shot, allowing players at the 3.0 and 3.5 NTRP to use this racquet as they improve their game. There is not even a need to change racquets as you improve, because this racquet is powerful enough that it is being utilized on the tour with great success as Radwanska is proving.
