Babolat Pure Storm GT Racquet

Babolat Pure Storm GT

Pure Storm GT is the preferred racquet of Samantha Stosur, but you do not have to be at her caliber to enjoy the features of this racquet. GT is short for Graphite and Tungsten, where Babolat has added Tungsten at crucial locations in the frame that compliment the solid feel of Pure Storm GT. Woofer grommets is another technology used to enhance both control and power. There is a greater dwell time on strings as a result of woofer grommets, and this contributes to the excellent control that you will experience when playing with Pure Storm GT. You also get about 10% extra power through an increased trampoline effect.

The racquet is 98 square inches, which is small for Babolat racquets, however many racquets used by pros and club players alike are only 95 square inches so you still have adequate room for error. The racquet is 11 oz., which is just a little bit less than most racquets used by pros so small adjustments to the strokes are made more easily than usual.

Intermediate and advanced players are going to appreciate the excellent maneuverability and fantastic feel. The stiffness at 63 aids to this feel, but aggressive baseline players like Samantha Stosur are still able to produce lots of power that opponents will be unable to handle sufficiently.
