Dunlop has implemented several new technologies into the Dunlop Biomimetic M2.0 tennis racquet. Aeroskin CX technology is influenced by shark skin and reduces drag 36%, which translates into a faster racquet speed and more power. Grommets are inspired by snake skin where Dunlop is now using self-lubricating polymer for reduced friction. The result of these grommets called MoS2 grommets is less vibration and more power. Dunlop did not overlook players seeking control and is now using Biofibres in the throat and handle for better stability and improved feel.
The open string pattern makes this racquet excellent for top spin shots, while the new technologies developed by Dunlop have added some more power to the groundstrokes. It is a fairly compact racquet at 11.7 ounces and with a stiffness rating of 70, players can really get their effort from a solid swing transformed into power and spin. Biomimetic M2.0 is excellent for advanced players, but intermediate players looking for a stable racquet should also give this one a chance.
