Head Crossbow 4 Racquet

Head Crossbow 4

The Head Crossbow 4 is part of the Crossbow line of game improvement racquets from Head. This racquet offers a nice blend of power, control and spin. There is a generous sweetspot in this 107 square inch head frame that is very forgiving on off-center shots and provides easy access to spin with the open string pattern. Crossbow technology is a dynamic bridge racquet construction that is suspended from the frame. Like a crossbow the energy is stored in the bridge and stringbed at impact and when the ball accelerates of the stringbed the energy is unleashed into every shot. The Crossbow 4 is best suited for players at the 2.5 – 3.5 level.

On Nov/10 Roger Lundin (3.5) said: My racket was less than two years old and fractured on both sides of the the "Y" part of the frame when I hit an overhead. I sent it back to Head and they sent me a Mettalix. I was told that Head had too many problems with the Crossbow and it has been discontinued. I WAS DISAPPOINTED THAT THEY WOULD SEND A DIFFERENT RACKET WITH NO EXPLANATION.
